Her story

Stormy is the sassiest, sensitive, and piggiest lady you will ever meet. She has this enthusiasm when we train that lights up my day and is always down for any adventure I throw in her way. But getting her was a hot mess and a half. Minus the hot, double the mess...

At that time in my life, I was a clueless little old me who wanted a dog so bad and finally had convinced her parents to get one. Luckily, the barn dog Rosa had just given birth to a litter and I was going to take the runt home. I had named him Arrow after one of my favorite horses that had passed away. Who would have thought that I would have to lose another Arrow in my life?  Around 1 month after he was born, Arrow suffered from a severe seizure attack. I had the choice to keep him alive but his whole life would have been miserable. So, I let him have a pain free life and was now dogless.

With a stroke of luck, one of Arrow's littermates was left! I had named him Chance (2013 Hahnbee was very corny) and was going to bring him home immediately. Unexpectedly, the barn owner had found a stray puppy running around the streets of McAllen, TX. I'm not sure if it's because of her beautiful coloring, our immediate connection, or her sweet soft piggy personality. But I knew she was the dog I needed to take home that day. And it's by far the best decision I have ever made. She has taught me so much in these short 5 years even with the countless amount of mistakes I've made with her. And I can't wait to keep going on through life with my ultimate best friend. Because without her, how fun would life really be?
